A revolutionary treatment using spongilla spicules — siliceous bio-micro-needles that have been extracted from freshwater sponge, gentle enough for sensitive skin and suitable for all skin types.
The spongilla spicules are massaged into the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin synthesis. Followed by a hydrating repair silk mask. The Science Behind SQT Bio-Microneedling
One SQT treatment is equivalent to three–five traditional microneedling sessions.
3–5 million micro-channels are created and stay open for up to 72 hours, enhancing absorption by 3000%, maximising nutrient delivery and stimulating skin renewal from the inside out.
The process triggers natural regeneration of collagen and elastin production. Targeting collagen depletion at a fibroblast level and repairs the barrier function in the cell membrane. Unlike traditional needling, there is a zero inflammatory cascade.

Downtime & Risks / Side Effects
- Redness the day of treatment. SPF will be required post treatment or avoid sun exposure at least 3 days after treatment.
- Skin may feel activated up to 72 hours as the microneedles travel through the dermis layer stimulating collagen production.
- Itching and dryness is a normal process of skin cell renewal and healing phase.
- SQT resurfacing or revitalising treatments — skin may peel on days 4–7 after treatment.
- SQT anti-aging or nourishing treatments — minimal to zero days of peeling is expected after treatment.
Treatment Frequency
For best results, we typically recommend a series of 4–6 treatments spaced three–four weeks apart. This allows your cells time to respond to each regenerative signal before the next treatment.

After Care
- Keep skin hydrated with hydrating serums, SQT Intensive Repair Cream & TR Pro+.
- No swimming or sauna or sweating for 72 hours.
- SPF & mineral makeup is recommended if makeup is necessary.
- Change pillowcase day of treatment.
- Use gentle cleanser & avoid skincare with active ingredients vitamin A & vitamin C, alcohol, essential oils & acids 7 days after treatment.
