Treatment & Medical History
Please inform us during your consultation of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, or other factors that may impact your treatment.
Treatments such as PRP and traditional microneedling (Raffine) carry potential risks and side effects (involving penetration of skin). Client safety is our priority.
Some treatments may not be suitable for certain individuals, and medical clearance may be required prior to proceeding.
Some treatments (PRP) will be performed under medical supervision and by AHPRA-registered medical practitioners.
All clients must answer a questionnaire and discuss desired goals, benefits, risks, side effects, alternative options, and pre or post treatment care, costs involved during consultation before receiving treatment.
Individual results may vary for all treatments. Before and after results can be shown in person during consultation.
No services or information offered are to be used as medical advice or diagnosis. Please see a medical practitioner for medical advice and to advise if treatments offered are suitable for you and your health conditions.
Medical Considerations
- •Cold sores: If you are prone to cold sores, preventative medication should be taken 2–3 days prior to treatment. Treatment cannot proceed if a cold sore is present or active.
- •Major dental work: Please allow 4 weeks pre- and post-procedure before undergoing dermal filler treatment.
- •Roaccutane: A waiting period of 6 months post-medication is required before treatment.
- •Antibiotics, vaccinations, or infusions: Please allow 2 weeks before or after treatment.
Eligibility
PRP and traditional microneedling (Raffine) are not available for individuals under 18 years of age.
SQT Bio-Microneedling may be considered for individuals aged 16–18 years, but will require parental informed consent and a 7-day cooling-off period before the planned treatment date.
Payment Policy
A valid card payment is required at the time of booking to secure the deposit and appointment. Full payment is due at the time of service. You can choose an alternate form of payment at the time of your appointment if you choose to do so. We accept cash, Visa, and MasterCard. We do not accept cheques.
Appointments
Appointments at Aleia Aesthetics & Wellness can be booked online or via enquiry by text, email, or in person during your consultation. If a preferred day and time is not available online, please contact via text. For mobile group bookings, please email or text to discuss availability.
A $75 deposit is required at the time of booking. All deposits are treated as credit for the scheduled treatment and are non-refundable within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, we kindly request 48 hours' notice for any changes to your booking.
SMS and email reminders are sent 72 hours prior to your appointment. Please use the link provided in your confirmation email or contact the clinic via phone or email to reschedule or cancel.
If you need to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, please SMS or call the clinic directly.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit, or incur a $75 late cancellation fee if no deposit was taken at the time of booking.
Please do not contact us via Instagram or Facebook, as these platforms are not regularly monitored.
Failure to attend your appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit/booking fee, and a new pre-payment will be required before scheduling another appointment.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will be considered a no-show and your deposit will be forfeited. A new booking deposit will be required to secure another appointment.
In the event of illness, your cancellation fee or deposit may be waived once only. Repeated cancellations will result in loss of deposit.
Courtesy communication is always appreciated if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
